I'm sorry but no..

You will have to ask around. They are a factory option in japan. I'm sure if you contact your local mazda dealer they might be able to help you. Maybe even try ringing jtimports or corksport as i'm sure they have connections in japan and might be able to help you out.

Props man, that's a huge amount of nice work. I'd love to see some pics of the internal neons at night. Now, for those of us with Nav... anyone make any progress in splicing the video output??

Thanks for the compliments. I've tried to take pix but either it's too dark or the flash of the camera takes away from the interior neons... When I figure it out, i'll be sure to post.

Might want to watch out. If I remember correctly, where I live, it is illegal to place a TV in the driver's view.

I would like that case "hole" even if I don't have the LCD. That is a great Idea for dead space.

Would you pay 100 dollars to "kill dead space"?

wow that's a pretty clean install...i don't really know what everyone is talking about that it looks messy...the only wires i see are from the radar which i suggest you route straight to something...

anyway, just a few suggestions:

1) move the radar up around the rearview mirror area and perhaps route to Homelink system - you get rid of the wires and you get an extra cig adapter free, also you get 360 degree protection cuz right now it's being blocked by the LCD screen...

2) maybe find a way to place the LCD screen on the dash without the pedestal or move the base of the pedestal lower? right now it seems a little too high and distracting...

just a few suggestions but overall a wonderful job...i especially like the buttons, very clean looking...and the controller ports in the center tunnel look awesome! too bad you can't use the factory nav buttons to control the onscreen menus!

2) you change the position of the PS2 to vertical so that you can actually open the PS2 and change DVDs/CDs from the back panel...i don't know how you do that with the PS2 laying horizontal like that

3) maybe find a way to place the LCD screen on the dash without the pedestal? right now it seems a little too high and distracting...

Thanks for the comments and suggestions!! Here is what i think of them....

1. Great idea!!! i never thought of that! That's something that i will do and post pictures after it is done.

2. i don't get this question bec. i can change the cd/dvd from the back seat without any problems.... if you get a chance, please clarify.

3. After having the LCD screen in for the last couple of months, i now notice how crappy the pictures i took are. The pictures DO NOT DO THE INSTALLATION JUSTICE! The LCD screen is not im my way at all.. The radar detector is more in the way than the screen.

Thanks again for the comments and suggestions and will be taking your advice about the radar dectector.

at first glance it seemed that the CD player tray was being blocked and so i thought it'd be better to have it laying vertical in which the PS2 is actually designed to do also...but after viewing the picture again it isn't blocked so i edited and omitted that #2...:D

I really like how you installed the buttons and toggles. It looks so clean. Ho did you do it? Just careful cutting and glue? Very nice!

I don't understand why you need this in your car, but you did a nice job installing it. One observation though - You need to clean your dashboard.

Well, if it's about what you NEED, then none of us NEEDS a sports car. An econo box gets you from point A to B.

It's what you WANT that matters. If you dont want to do anything like this, fine and dandy. But it isnt about NEED.

I plan on doing a big entertainment instal myself for no other reason than I know how and love my hobbies.
