i do have a aftermarket gps, its the sony nu-v70, i'm just trying to see were other people find convinient spots to put their gps's..sorry for misleading you'all, i can post some pic's later in the week tough.

N rider - I noticed you were in Santa Clara. If you go to Cupertino Village on Wolfe Road (that chinatown place), next to Joy Luck Place is this GPS store that has a bunch of the small, portable, windshield-mountable GPS systems on display. Not just fake store display models, but fully functioning ones you can play around with. You should check it out if you're going that route...

thanks but right now im slowly getting along on a car computer project that will take care of gps, i just need a screen and a computer.
