I already have a company here in Richmond, VA working on the wiring harnesses and extentions. They should be done in a week or so. I am still looking around for somebody to make the dash kit. Check my other thread about that information. Should be near the top.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. well, the dash kit and everything is done. It fits well and works great. Its more of a relocation kit than anything but I like it. The circuit board fits up top in the spot where the navigation goes and all controls works.

I just figured since Corksport beat me too it, there was no need to continue to try and get this thing marketed and sold to other members.

Only thing that sucks is that my D3 is still on back order from Pioneer, but I guess its worth it for the price i'm getting it at. The kit just sits there in the shop waiting for the last component. It fits fine with the Eclipse AVN double din (forget the model number) but I'm kinda worried because the D3 is slightly smaller because it doesn't have a flip down screen.

But anyways, whenever I get the D3 in i'll take final pictures and whatnot.

I believe you are mistaken

Yes the corksport kit is nice. I however like many can not imagine spenind over $400 on it. If taking out the circuit board can be done I will do that. But that leaves me needing a piece of plastic to make it look nice. So far I haven't found any, just rumors of who is supposed to have one.

What I am saying is, someone selling a single din and double din dash kit for the 8 could do fairly well as long as it is say $50 or so. Don't know how realistic that is, but honesty it is a piece of plastic. I know molding cost and what not.

Also, if anyone repsonds to this. Is the harness from autotoys.com the best 1 to get. It says it has all the pins that are new.

Haven't taken my dash apart yet to put in my Alpine, but I will soon. In the fall I plan to get a double din Pioneer.
