Aerial cable path from rear window?

Aerial cable path from rear window?
Has anyone traced the path of the aerial from the rear window to the head unit? I want to splice into the cable to install an FM modulator (please don't start an FM modulator v's line input saga) and I'm planning to mount the modulator in the boot so that I can easily switch frequencies if necessary.
