Well i want some advice.

Is there much point in upgrading speakers and leaving the bose stereo in?????

Anyway apart from that im building a boot build at the minute. Single sub and amp, whats everyone else got?

 

I think whether you replace the headunit or not depends on your needs from it. If you have one that just plays CDs and that's fine with you, or up to one that plays MP3 CDs and has an ipod module and the functionality suits you then there's no point in upgrading the headunit.

Personally, immediately after I get an RX8, I'll be completely redoing the audio. Starting with a Pioneer AVIC-F90BT GPS headunit

 

Depending on what you want (or expect), people have had great results replacing the speakers only.

 

if you are really picky about your sound and ICE, then you may want to change it out. if not, then small upgrades will do.

 

I've replaced the stock speakers and front tweeters as well. I've been happy with it. I'd love to replace the stock headunit but with the adapter being $500 and then the double din unit another $1000 it's just not worth it in a car I race.

 

WHAT - there is a stereo in our cars ? Wondered what all those buttons were for .....
