Hey guys, I've had my 8 for about a month now, and I cannot stand the Bose system. Car audio has been my hobby for about 2-3 years now and I install/build everything myself. When I got the 8, I sold the majority of my system that was in my old car, but I have my Kicker Components and US Acoustic amp still and I'm debating if I should install these in my 8, or sell them and get a better set of components.

These are the Kicker Resolution RS6 components with a US Acoustic amp putting out around 80-100W RMS x 2 @ 4ohms. I'm really looking to go into SQ more than SPL with this car, and later on down the road, I might add a 8 or 10W7, but do you think these speakers will do?

What speakers have you replaced the Bose system with?

 

MB quarts 6.5 in the doors and the tweeters in the sail panel. Put the crossover in the door where the stock BOSE amp is for the door speakers. I like it. sounds good.
