6 disc changer won't play!
Hey all,
I have the Bose 6 CD changer, but it's the fussiest player I've ever come across! When I load CDs, it spits them back out at least 50% of the time and, even once it's accepted them, it'll often just spit them out halfway through (especially after a power off/on) and display "CHECK CD".
Oddly, this is more common on original CDs than on burnt ones! I tried a brand new CD with no marks at all, and it refuses to play it. If I try enough times (like, 10+) it'll occasionally accept a CD that it's previously rejected.
I'm way out of warranty, so anyone know if there's anything I can do to improve this? An ipod upgrade is on my list of things to do, but in the meantime it'd be great if the changer would work!
Thanks.
Oh, P.S. it's the same whether it's hot or cold...
