just wanted to know if the radio is covered under warranty. i have 40,000 miles on it.....how long is the warranty service til...thanks

yes tell us more about what is wrong...not changing? not playing? not being recognized? whole radio doesn't work?

 

Mine seized up just after Christmas. Loaded with 4 or 5 discs, it worked fine some weeks earlier (don't use it much). Then it wouldn't eject a CD, would freeze up, then turn off. It started working again a couple weeks later, and is fine now.

I'm well past 50,000 miles, and the extended warranty doesn't cover it.

What do I do the next time??

 

I know, blast from the past...but my wife's Mazda3 (which I'm assuming uses the same 6 disc in dash changer), is having similar problems:

Loaded with 4 or 5 discs, won't load, won't eject. No sound of discs spinning. The car just went over the 50K mark. Any ideas?
