2004 GT Manual - Bose? please say no
I am getting ready to buy an 04 GT 6 speed. The window sticker says 6 speaker AM/FM/CD. Does not mention Bose. I am planning to upgrade with Amp/speakers/sub and maybe add an iPod. Reading all of these streams about the misery to which Bose subects audiophiles I am hoping that this is a base audio system and not the Bose. Can anyone confirm?

If it says 6 speaker, it is not the Bose. Look inside at the small speakers on the door (near the window). The Bose system says...Bose. Better yet, you can ask the salesman just to be sure.

If it's a GT, it will be Bose. Sorry, no way around that.
If you don't want the Bose, your only option is to get the sport package or the base car.

I have the sport pkg and no bose so that is correct.........

Bose is packaged with the Moonroof. If you have one, I'm pretty sure you have to have the other.
