Well I haven't heard back from the admins yet, but I'll start to move forward some...

I've got to work on shipping details still... mainly figuring out the cost. As this isn't a business, there are no options (unless you want to bribe me :D) everyone will be shipped via the same method. So the question is sooner and more expensive or later and cheaper? I was planning to just use the postal system air mail... it'll take 7 days. Been mailing stuff to and from home for 5 years now... very reliable, never taken longer if memory serves me. Expressive mail... a waste of money. Everytime my parents have tried it, it still took 7 days... or maybe it ws 6 instead. Really worth the money, eh!

The other major issue that I am thinking of is payment. My banking is in Japan... I have to investigate paypal... for now assume NG. I'm not a vendor... no direct credit cards. That leaves us with International Postal Money Orders. So no one loses their shirt (namely me) due to exchange rate changes , could you try to send them in yen please.

Lastly... "this product is a piece of @#&$*!!" I'm only a middle man... not even a business! I'm making no money off this... not even getting one for myself at a group discount... I have no 8 yet. When I have all the money, I'll place an order with the makers, and they'll ship to me. I'll repackage and ship to you. I'll check them (of course) when repackaging. If they look like crap or have defects, I'll be calling the maker. If it arrives to you in multiple pieces, let me know and we'll work things out. If you simply don't like it... well you can complain to me and I'll pass on your complaints to the maker, but returns on the consumer level are rare if at all.

Questions? Complaints? Want to get a magazine with that? :D If I think of anything else, I'll be back...

NOTE
For the gauge pod people... I could be persuaded to pick up gauges for you here as well... Blitz, Defi, Pivot. For Defi it's like 20,000 JPY + for one. If this is better than the US, cool. If not, cool. Just thought I'd offer.

Regarding the RSW 3 gauge pod. I don't know when they'll have the new one ready. I'll be checking on that, and let you all know.

Ah hell... I'll include the Starter Button as well. I can just pick one up from the store up the street. If anyone wants one (see the thread)...

I haven't seen one in person yet. From the pics, it looks like they fit straight... thus viewable from either RHD or LHD.

Racing Starter 6,825 JPY

Illuminated Starter 8,190 JPY

Ah,I thought you meant the Mazda rotary-shaped OEM JDM piece,I see by the link those are JDM,but not OEM.
If you can get those nifty JDM OEM starter-button pieces cheap, that might be cool!

Preacher, let's assume I can't, because I hadn't planned for or evern started looking for them. If I should happen to work something out, then it is as they say... fortuitous.

Payment methods update...

It looks like Paypal will be a go. I'm waiting for some info from them, however, I will at least be able to accept Paypal, if not credit cards directly. Keep you all posted...

BTW... I forgot to post that RSW says it'll be a month before the new unit is ready. I'll post info as soon as I hear from them.

Regarding payment. I've talked to PayPal and lucky I had a backdoor, so we're about set. What I need to know is if everyone will pay by PayPal or if you need to pay directly by credit card. Directly using a credit card will cost you transaction fees they charge me... https://www.paypal.com/fees

At the moment the major hold up is me waiting for a response from RMagic on some details like their turn around time, shipping size and weight, etc. Once I can get that information together, I should be set for the RMagic products. The RSW will (of course) be on hold for another month until the new design unit is ready. At that time I'll post pics and verify that people are still interested in that unit or not. Anyone ordering both the RMagic Ashtray Gauge Pod and the RSW 3 Gauge Hood will have to let me know their shipping preferences (like Amazon... separately or wait and ship together).

Has anybody figured out a way to hook up an oil pressure guage that reads the correct oil pressure. I want an oil pressure and not sure what else(probably EGT), but do not know if it is possible to hook up an oil pressure guage.

I've never hooked one up, so I can't give you specifics, but I do know that it's possible. Available gauges are: turbo, intake manifold, oil pressure, fuel pressure, oil temp, water temp, exhaust temp, and tachometer.

bump...

this is the last day folks. I suggest hopping on the above mentioned thread and signing up for one if you want to install an aftermarket HU or navigation system... or a carputer.

Pricey some may say, but unless you can do glassing yourself, you are likely going to pay pretty damn close to this price for one. If anyone remembers the one that rotarygod was working on for eXentric... ask the man yourself, and he'll tell you that a quality piece like this made by him is going to fall into this range. You aren't getting ripped here.

RMagic is a top rotary tuner who also makes several of their own bodykits as well. I have little doubt as to the quality of the unit.

The pieces have arrived in my hands at long last (backlog order)! They are very solid and should fit nicely. I can't wait to see pics of them installed. If I can get my POS digital camera working, I'll post some pics of the piece uninstalled.
