Hello there, I have been scouring this site and the Internet (left posts). I am interested in getting the latest xcarLink to use my iPhone (sku3) but I am not sure if I am compatable with my model having the factory fitted dvd sat nav hood. I do not want to lose the function of this.

I emailed xcarLink.co.uk yesterday and they said I also need to buy a Mazda y piece harness as I have the nav model. I should imagine to plug both xcarLink and nav leads into cd changer port but am not sure on this advice. has anybody on here fitted an xcarLink to a navi model.

I have also emailed therpmstore just to make sure and awaiting reply.

I have firmware v9.55 so know that I am compatable head unit wise. But do not want to order and start taking out bits and pieces if I lose functionality of my nav hood. Can anybody help please any advice would be much appreciated.

Ps I don't have Sirius satellite radio being a uk model.
