Can the Nav controls in the 04 be used for other things after removing the Nav?

 

like what?? most if not all the buttons on there are nav related ....

 

dunno, removing nav, maybe using them to control Car PC, or a different Nav. Just mainly want to know if its been done before so I'd have an idea what it entails.

Ive already read a few threads about removing and installing Nav, and thats time and Money wasted IMHO. but if I could just remove the screen and use the controls elsewhere... might be worth it. Plus I dont want to pull the screen and have controls that do jack squat.
