I have the OEM MS kit and as you all know the bottom part of the kit has a gunmetal color.. i was thinking of painting them red (i know, like mikeb) because i was thinking of getting bronze colored wheels... it didn't look right w/ the gunmetal.. what are some of your suggestions?

 

also, anyone have any luck finding color matched paint instead of taking it to a bodyshop?

 

I love having the whole kit in red
I think you have the right idea painting it red if you want bronze rims

try searching under sevenstock because they had a red rx8 with ms kit and bronze rims

 

Why not leave it gunmetal and get some gunmetal rims instead?

Better with gunmetal rims than bronze on red IMO.

 

Chicago indoor racing has a red mazdaspeed rx8 with gold rims. It looked real good, Flipstream its in Buffalo grove you should go take a look.
