Find a shop that specializes in tinting and look closely at their work. They also should guarentee their work.

I had a local company do the darkest legal tint. Total was $185 and the tint is guaranteed for life.

spend time visiting and talking to tint shops, have them explain their products (more than one shop so you can compare notes.) You don't have to buy top-of-the-line tint, but get a good metallic (not dyed) tint that won't delaminate. They use various metals like titanium as their tint so they won't fade. Only use a shop that has been in business in a single location for many years, so you know they are accountable and will be there in the future.

Find a good shop that specializes in it....like here in Vegas we got 702 Motoring. I got my full tint for free through the dealer, and they did a DAMN good job, very impressed with it.

One caveat about metallic tint. If your RX-8 has a navigation system in it. DO NOT let them install metallic window tint on the rear window or your GPS reception will be non-existant.

Find a company who installs Madico tints, that's what I have on my 8 and it looks great.
