I've got 15% all around and 28% on the windshield. I'll post up some pics tonight.

Doubt anyone will do it b/c it is illegal in your state.

You don't want to go too dark b/c that tends to draw unwanted attention, whether it be from the cops or would be thieves. Back in my bad days, I always hit the cars with dark tint first. They always had something good to hide.

As far as the 25%, I don't believe that shade is made. In my experience, it starts at 5% and goes up in 15% increments to 50.

Got 35% all the way around & its ok. Wish we would have gone to 20%. Looks a lot better on a black car.. Heres pics with 35%. Its a breeze to see out of, & I know when I went with 20% on all my other cars & I had no problems with sight out of that either. All depends on your cops really. Here in NE tint is a second offense..

Not the best pic, but:

My insurance company won't cover me if I have my windshield tinted and I get into an accident.

You might wanna check that out before you go ahead and tint the windshield.

Most will allow a 6" strip at the top. Or are you referring to tinting the whole windshield?

I found someone who will do it for me. I am deciding on weather to do 15% or 20%. Also I am deciding weather to get a strip on the windshield or not. The reason I am contemplating against it is I have a feeling you will be able to see the darker spot on the windshield that goes down that is stock. Anyone got any close up pics of their front tint strips?

On my old car i had 5% all around (none on windshield)... love the look of cars with tinted windows all the way... hate the look with just the back ones.....

got pulled over, $675 ticket... what sucks is the cop was like have your windows tinted? SCRRAAAAPPPPEEEEEE, keyed my window on the inside... had to get it removed within a week or get another ticket.

Got 20%, especially if your legal limit is only 35%.. Don't want to be screaming at the cops your illegal. Plus, some cars will actually be a bit darker if there is a factory tint applied.

After much debate I went ahead and got 15% all away around except the windshield. I left the windshield stock and if I ever decide to go back and put a strip on it my tint guy will hook me up for cheap practically free actually. I'll get better pictures in the day when I get my car washed and get a good camera!
