Why can't I use air Dam for AT - appearance package

Why can't I use air Dam for AT - appearance package

I was about to buy an appearance package for my AT 8 but why is the front airdam will not fit with AT RX8? Heres the description.

I just put one on mine. Checked out other 8"s before doing it. Dont understand why they say that either. Airflow is changed around both lower sides of the bumper & a very little at the bottom(bottom lip moved more forward & thicker).
