Where to find.....?

Where would I find a template to drill the holes in my trunk lid to add a factory rear spoiler?

Use the spoiler itself... just turn it over and outline the bolt holes. Take some measurements and realign it on the trunk.

If you want to do it yourself, that is fine. Just make sure you do it correctly and it's alligned, if not, then you will need to drill more holes than what is needed. Anyway, I did mine for just $50 in a local auto shop, without me doing it and maybe making a few mistakes if I do it myself.

I just installed mine today. I put a 09series 2 wing on my rx8. I cut the head from a q-tip and placed it in the holes, got a black Sharpie colored the q-tips then placed it on my trunk and just drilled where the black marks showed up. I'll upload a pic later

I would put tape down incase you mess up. you can always drill through the tape..

Also i would make a jig so that its going on perfectly straight.

I saw a FD rx7 with the R1 spoiler and it had close to 15 holes in the trunk due to misalignment and re-do's i believe the r1 spoiler only needed 4 or 6.

It only took me like 20 mins and 4 holes. Used small screws about 8mm and washers and got it lined up perfect
