Rx-8 hood decal

So I have had my rx-8 for a month now.

i have a titanium gray color

what do you think of Name:  m9gDw.png

Plasti dip

i am about to try out plasti dip and make a design like that... i dont exactly what i am going to do yet (just learned about plasti dip yesterday) but i found this thread while looking for ideas. u should look it up, just you tube search dipyourcar. best thing about it, u dont like it, u peel it off... i did it to my emblems today and it looks great imho :-) Rx-8 hood decal-img_0363.jpg

I know a guy who dipped his rx8. it only looks mediocre. You can tell its cheap.

plasti-dip isn't the best option for wheels but for little things like emblems it's pretty good did mine a few days ago.

Think it looks turd myself, then again I don't like carbon bonnets either... always looks like the cars half repaired.

ImageShack Album - 13 images i also added a series 2 wing to the back, just had to drill couple of holes in the trunk held down with some washers painted winning blue =]

well i bought the decal and it was the flimsist thing ive ever worked with and it was near impossible to put on.


anyways i went with plasti dip 20 dollars and 20 minutes of my time not to bad.

Now that i have a little experience with plasti dip

if i get bored one day i might attempt this





its a little much i kinda like the stock but i can always just peal it off

Well I mean I painted the bottem part of the bumper the same black so it matches, and with the black on the hood I think it goes well:p
