I want to add a rear spoiler to my 8 that I picked up tonight. I'm so far thinking of adding the factory spoiler because I have yet to see an aftermarket one that I really like. I may hold off till one is avail. I was curious as to what is avail. as of now and if you could post pics or links that would be great. I want to weigh out my options before buying one.

check out Extreme Dimensions website...they have the MazdaSpeed replica spoiler for less than half of what Mazda is charging...the only thing i am uncertain of is whether or not the mounts are real aluminum or fiberglass like the one Kel RX8 got from somewhere...

 

The spoiler in that second picture is horrible.

Mazdaspeeds spoiler is perfect.

 

I don't want an aluminum wing. I'm def. not a fan of that style. I'll prob. buy the factory one but just want to do a bit of research to see what is avail. on the aftermarket.

Mine's not stock but I have yet to find out where my rip-off dealership got it from. They claimed it was the "original" OEM spoiler before they changed while in production. None the less, it did grow on me and I like to be unique...I just don't like being lied to. I have to say this for them, whoever they got to paint it, did a damned good job matching the Velocity Red.

For those who like the lip spoiler. I think this is best from R Magic.

 

Are there any specs for these spoilers? In general, is performance data available to comparison shop these things other than by saying, "ugh" or "rice"?

Cause if so, then I think that Re-ameniya spoiler would probably trump all the others.
