What kit is this (picture inside)?
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what kit/spoiler is this? I got the picture from the RX-8 page on Wikipedia. It's not very clear there what's on the picture. Is it the new 2009 model? If so where can it be purchased and will it fit the older model? Any information is much appreciated. I just think it looks fantastic!
Thanks,
catalin

again this subject 'can the 09 stuff fit on my pre 09,,,, probably 2 dozen threads that cover this subject usually from people on thier first few posts(no offense but do some searching), search, but I'll induldge ya' Yes good guess that is indeed the MS kit for the 09 and no it will not fit without some very maticulous body modifications. The only thing that would translate without any modding are the sideskirts. For the 09s the headlights, bumpers(both front and rear) fenders and taillights are different and make it difficult to swap between 09 and pre 09 models, not to be said that its not impossible but quit costly and extensive to get the panels to match well...
Edit- VVV fortunate is correct about the wing... so if your only interest is the wing just get the pre 09 MS wing...

yup spoiler should fit if not you can get the same one for our cars that does fit.
sideskirts should fit, front bumper sadly will not. at least not without a lot of body work.

So some of you said this kit or a very similar is also available for the older model? Any idea where to find it and how it's called, dealers or sites that deliver in Europe (Switzerland)?
Thanks,
catalin
Hi Guys, thanks for the answers. I had no idea what kit this was so impossible to know what to look for, unless I would be able to search by picture, which I only saw in the movies

They mean the 'wing' spoiler on the trunk. There is already something similar for the older model.
