Thats odd that you say your sponsored from them because i freind of mine works there and they have no mazda rx-8 "Sponsored" there . Unless you work there because that is the only rx-8 they put the doors on is a guy who works there ..... But i could be wrong maybe ....

Oh yea and they dont have any real sponsership there they send you a sticker... THe only way they will do a full sponser there is if you live near them and they are doing a magazine shoot for them .....

Spice Boy just had these put on for Seven Stock.

However they made the fenders bow and put a crease in them.

I suppose that's what they mean by Universal.

The Sponsorship program works ok, it seems that the amount of full sponsorships abtainable are very limited, But you do get one full sponsorship, free parts or whatever at no cost, and at least one what they call quasi sponsorship, which is that you still have to pay for the product but it is a lot cheaper than what even a wholesaler can get it for.
My full sponsorship is from decalkits which gives me an opportunity to place full scale decals on my car for about a month take them off then put another kit on. I wouldn't be into it but, since its free it gives me a great opportunity to try different styles and colors out.
The sponsorship does always have opportunities to get more sponsorships especially if the company is in your area. There are always quasi sponsorships available with various different companies.

I don't have a full sponsorship with vertical doors, my sponsorship is quasi. I did pay for the kit but I got a great deal on it. I do have there decal on my car.
Although when I called them they were in pretty good contact with my installer, because they said they have never done a RX8 before. I guess maybe since your friend worked their not every may have known.

 

Why does everyone keep assuming that?......it was my impression from Jason that the shop put the crease in his door from the install...?

I believe this kit is from GT Factory 90 degree upward.
