Hey guys just to tease you...

I ve bought before long time from Matt at Mazdaparts( who is one of the very few who sell this mechanism-Gt Factory Lambo door hinge...)this mechanism and i didn't have enough time cause i am trying to stop tuning my 8 :D ...

I have installed many many things from that time(see my sign)and have made many many custom jobs(like start button rotary in the center console-revi box with the turbo-battery relocation from mustang-etc etc etc etc)Will open some thread when i will get my 6pot grex and hks installed next week...

Well we test fitted the doors with that mechanism and i saw pics cause i wasn't there that day...They need work to be fitted but the "what you ll get" is worthless!!!

They open very high-highter from all the mechanisms out there-and you can very very easy get in and out!!arround 80degrees up and when we ll install them-next week-they will get maybe highter but this is optional...

Anyhow...Something important before the pics...If you ever purchase that kit remember that you must ask for 80lbs struts..One per door...Not 2 as the kit has and not 150lb struts as the kit has..This kit is universal and the 2*150lb struts will easily open but won't close the door...THe one 80lb per door strut will make hte door perform awesome...

Am I wrong in thinking this kit makes the rear doors inoperable?

 

No the rear door work perfectly..THe forn open a bit outside some degrees and then the get very very high and they don't make the rear useless...I ll have pics next week though to see...

wow C...the kit you got from matt is awesome...I was worried it would be like the other installs where you have to be a gymnast to get in the car...this go WAY up...are theys going to have actuators or just struts? if you do have actuators are u going to connect it into an alarm system...then remotely open them (which would be INSANE :D)

The door are with struts and when we will finally install them they might get more up!!!

Its very easy to get in and out..Great clearance...
They are not very heavy but the mechanism is very strong and secure..Very nice job and needs a professional for sure...A lot of job...

now that is how you PROPERLY do a lambo door kit...shoot for the 90 degree range or forget it !

May be me or does the doors look uneven? Maybe it's because they are working on the right door and it's not completely installed or something, but the left and right are not even at all when looking on from the front. I am sure it's just something cause they are working on that right door, but it looks really good.

GT Lambo Doors, Nice Man. 90 degrees is just a roomy as stock, But now it looks hott.

The strake is original carbon and its awesome with my cf style wing which will be soon be replaced(i m waiting for her to arrive)with Veilside CF GT Wing 3!!As long with the original Veilside FULL bodykit and custom job on it!!!! :D
