Yeah.. someone do that for MikeB

but hey.. just an observation.. are the scoops on the MS hood too close to the middle of the car? Wont that just vent the cooled air from the radiator out the top before it has a chance to circulate or is that not the case.... If so.. wouldnt the feed or something similar to that work better where the scoops are next to the front windshield?

thankx

Question if the purpose of the vented hood is to let heat out, and if you want to keep the rotary indention, why don't you cut it out remove it from the hood, and replace it with a grill or mesh like metal, to allow the air out, while at the same time keeping the indention

Or.. keep the symbol intact and basically remove the rest of the hood.. check this out...

This will keep it cool

I kind of like it....

From: AL/GA...you pick
if you vent to close to the center windshield you are going to get hot air right where your fresh air duct is and suck it straight into the cabin...i think the best option is like the Veilside who leave it in the rotory symbol indention or to the far sides of the edges of the hood toward the windshield...but the latter may decrease the air flow designed to flow out the side vents...but then that also leaves them free for nitrous purge...hmm...

Now I'm confused. The air that passes through the radiator has been heated up (and in turn done its job which is to cool the fluid inside the radiator) so you would want it out of the engine bay as quickly as possible.

That is the same hood I post before. I had them installed on the car before. Beware there will be about 1/4 inch gap on the front right side.

Definately like this hood!!! I think it´s supposed to be stylish and clean, and flow with the rest of the lines on the car. Many of the vented hoods are a little to much for me, but this one i like... (Maybe because it keeps raining were I live.. =)
So my pic is the Veilside type..

although some hood designs...you have to wonder about water intake

then again the mach 1 has a pan around the air intake that grounds all water

Yeah, what about the water? What if it rains? Sounds like a vented hood is something for those having sunny weather 400 days each year.. :D

i've been trying to get this hood everywhere. apparently it's gonna take 3 months to come in from veilside. apparently that time frame may shorten if the demand is higher. anyone else interested in getting the veilside hood?
