Heey ...

I have been wandering about something about the veilside rear fender.. as show'n in the picture i have attached the buttom part of the fender is another coulor , allmost looking like carbon .. what is this ? allmost every silver Rx8 with veilside i see got it that way ? is the lower part made of carbon or what is it?

and my other question is .. the Mazda and Rx8 logo's on the trunk are they just glued on so i can remove them easyly or what?

the rear fangs are usually paint....mine was painted a graphite grey....the rear badges have holes on everything but the RX-8

 

yea, it's not carbon. people paint it a dark color to make it look like a separate diffuser.

 

even with the holes its still pretty easy to take off the trunk emblems. The front bumpers flying M emblem is a bitch to get off, YOU WILL BREAK THE PINS

 

why do it unless you want holes in your trunk/bumper.

The front emblem will be removed as i change the front bumber with veilside so thats no problem.. maybe i should get the seibon carbon trunk insted of removing those at the back...? ..

if you wanna save it you can always re-badge it with different emablems.....if you search the site there are some threads that have other badges on them like veilside, burnout, se3p, etc.....
