Tinting front/rear emblems?

Tinting front/rear emblems?
I seen an 8 yesterday and it had the chrome color mazda symbols and RX 8 etc. tinted by the looks of it. The car was black and they were a black/copperish color. Does anybody know what steps I will have to take to do this to my car? IMO it looks badass! =)

Make sure to use heat when taking your badges off to paint. F*** your paint up if you just try to scrape it off.
