Tint for Ti
I've been looking at getting my windows tinted and I was wondering if you guys could tell me what looks good with the titanium RX8 specifically. Pics are appreciated. What are the some of the pros/cons of higher/lower % tints? Thanks

One disadvantage of ANY tint is that you have to be very careful not to scratch the film and they are usually pretty easy to scratch. Once damaged, the windows will look crap... that's the main reason I did not get my windows tinted. I'd love to, but am afraid the tint gets messed up somehow.

Here's a link to a site that has all the States listed... although their numbers are reversed. (ie: 70% = 30% tint, 30% of the light shines through)
http://www.tintdude.com/ntoo.html
I'd have to agree with Zaurin, 20% all around looks great.... especially with the dark vehicles.
If you want to stay legal in Ohio (new tint law went into effect on 4/8/04), 50% on Front Windows, and anything goes for rear windows and rear windshield.
I have 20% all around and have not been pestered by "the man" (well, not for tint anyways)

I used 30% Ceramic - legal limit in Washington State. Pics are here: https://www.rx8club.com/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=10660 The ceramic won't interfere with the GPS or Radio also.

30%?, the online WA state law says 35%? Maybe this is outdated, I got it from another car forum I frequent.

ifyou can still find it Madico Onyx Tint is some of the best out there. a little exspensive but it would look great on the winning blue 8s. it has true black look to it.
