Tint the sidemarkers?

So my car is going in to get tinted on Tuesday and everyone has been telling me to get clear corners for my car... well I dont really like the look of the clear corners but I have been thinking about getting just the side markers tinted while its in there. I'm just worried it wont look good if the headlights and tail lights aren't tinted. Anyone have any advice/pics of this?

I think it looks very good. Here is the most recent pic of mine with spray tint.

Well see I think it works for you guys because you have more black on your car, I'm not sure how it would look on a VR with stock rims and such.

^On a VR with stock wheels I dont think it would look very good. If you had black wheels, it would be ok. I personally still like clear corners better.

I agree with topgear, I think smoked corners look out of place most of the time; except like in snipaz car where it flows with the theme.

I just used a spray on tint and put it right over the ambers. It blends in perfectly with the body, you cant really even tell they are there. it even passes inspection!

Bad picture but you might be able to get a slight idea...

Its the only pic I got on me.

I'll snap some pics when I get my car back. I have the Lamin-X gunsmoke on my headlights, had a free leftover sheet from struggling with the taillight templates (they don't work well), and decided to see how it looked on the clears. Came out fairly well.

Are you guys doing the tint yourselves or getting it done by someone else? I really like the look to your car, snipaz. Those tinted corners really set it off. I plan to get black rims here soon and want to do the same to my corners. Could you tell me how you did them?

take them out and spray them with spray tint. It is probably the easiest mod you will ever do.

corners are really easy to tint. they are almost flat. you dont even need to use baby shampoo and water. you can literally just stick them on.

dont spray though, use laminex or some other vinyl tint. its easily reversible.

So if I use vinyl or something I won't need a heat gun or something like that? My friends dad does window tint and could probably just give me some tint for free. That would work right??
