Installed these today...great quality, great finish, great packaging, and great instructions. I know that when these first came out some people complained about a rough finish. Mine looked great! I think he has perfected them.

Don't have an RX-8 yet but love the fender strakes. Are the OEM strakes chrome? I didn't see chrome on this website so I'm curious.

Damn thats cheap!!! I've seen $200 from a dealer. Which one would be closest to chrome...I wonder.

 

The standard oem color is not chrome, they are an aluminum color. The sunlight silver is the closest color to the oem color. If you want chrome or carbon fiber email them, smedley mentioned he was going to make some.

Says temp out of stock so if rx8strakes would hurry up and make some OEM looking strakes now would be the time. (Not a fan of the paint matching strakes but to each his own).

 

he is correct, there is a section dedicated to threads like these.

 

rx8strakes.com now has "aluminum-lite" color strakes available (painted , not aluminum) that closely match the paint color of your OEM wheels. ..and of course they have them in Sunlight Silver (which I ordered today!!!)
