this might be a super dumb question, but they look similar shape wise to me so im going to ask it anyways...does anyone know if the dimensions between the series 1 and the series 2 8's tail lights match?...so could i buy the new tail lights and put them in a 2004 8?

 

Pulling the answer out of the air I would say no, but I am guessing. They look different on the outside so the chances are they will not fit.

 

pretty sure its already been tried, the series II lights fit but are not flush with the body giving it an off appearance
