I was on here lookin about a month ago and i read a thread about smoked tail lights ....that someone was tryin to produce for the 8 is there any new news on that or is it not to popular.... i think it would look great on my yellow 8 with all the CF stuff on it already .........
also this doesnt go in this thread but can anyone tell me how to re-size pics b/c i would like to post and they are all way to large thanks ...

i've tried modified the tail light, i found it's almost impossible to take out the lense, i've tried heat gun and oven, ( i've done a lot of stuff like this on my friends cars like 350Z and rsx and my old FD, so i can say i'm very professional on opening the lights) but the rx8, it's very hard, i found no way of opening it. if you try open it with a heat gun, the lense will melt within 10 sec, so it won't work, if you put it in the oven, the plastic around the lights will melt so is the small lights inside the housing. so i crack it open with a hammer, the housing is very hard to take it out, you'll have to be really careful with those little lights on the strikes, and the small lense around the tail light, you can NOT remove that. so there is basically NOTHING you can do with your stock taillight besides smoked it.
