we were just trying to help I hate for people to spend money on cheap knock off bodykits and then spend more money when thier body shop tells them that it doesnt fit, sorry...
And I hate it more for people not to make a decision for themselves...Its your car do what you like...
If I were choosing I would go for the RMagic(the authentic version of the first spoiler you posted) the price of that wing varies with your choice of the material for the center piece... FRP-around $900, CF-around $1400
PS- dont get snappy when you ask for generalized opinions, your gonna get generally frustrated answers we're all here to help

^ +1 for that, there are too many companies out there in the market making crap products that don't fit correctly or a part that is made with such cheap materials that it cracks, breaks or is otherwise ruined in less than a year. Always go for quality components and you'll never be disappointed, i've learned that from experience, just spend the money right the first time and if you don't have the money then don't waste your time on a large quantity of parts with very low quality

I have it as well its the Holden Monaro wing,,, there are about three other post which I talk about it(mine) and site Chrisms as well...as for mine this will most likely be the last time I post pics of it you all are probably sick of seeing it by now,,,but I do love it...

ok well thanks but when ur asking for help and someone says "i 2nd that" after somone who says itll fit like caca..then that doesnt do anything your just wasting each others time. People post threads for help and opinions and half the time its people talking **** to each other or saying stuff that doesnt help. Youve either got something good to say and something thatll help the threader or just dont say anything. Im not trying to have an attitude its just annoying cuz its happened so much and it happens to all the threaders.

Ok well that thread pretty much explained where im coming from so i dont know what your so mad about. Im not mad Im just simply stating im here because im serious and I needed help not because I want to hear its gonna fit like caca. Do u want that response when your looking for help? Didnt think so. I do have thick skin thats why im standing up for other threaders that are sick of people posting bullsh*t. Its nothing against either of you, as a matter a fact thank you for your opinions.

I understand that anyone can get frustrated when they ask for help and someone says "it'll fit like caca". I can't speak for everyone but I have to say that even though it may come across as being rude, all we want to say is to look out for stuff that is substandard. IMO the low style spoiler looks better but I can't say for sure especially on what your car looks like now, the first wing I believe will only look good on a car that is heavily modified with an aggressive body kit. The main reason that you got responses like you got was because of the fact that this is more of an opinion question. I've seen both spoilers in person and honestly I feel that the first wing (Rmagic style) is way over the top. But when you just ask for people's opinions it kinda seems like a waste of time because it is your car and no one is going to stop you from picking out whatever you like.

I don't mean to be offensive and I really hope I haven't been but I'm just trying to be 100% honest and explain why some members may have said the things they did.

ok,,, so the point of the link was that hopefully that you would have seen you posted an entirely inadequete question thus a response your werent quit expecting... If say you would have elaborated more in any given direction what your goal is and possibly why you chosen these two very different wings, or perhaps you would have said "has anyone out there have any experience with either of these wings, and is the site Im looking to get them form reputable(we can all see form the watermarks) you may have recieved a quit in depth and experience filled answer...
If your sick of bullsh*t you better start proposing better quality questions or concerns. And by the way niether of us are Bullsh*tting you,,, you obviously dont have experience in any bodywork(which is fine by the way) but even by the simple fact of looking at all of our sigs and avatars you should respect that fact that we all have experience in this area and are tryin to prevent you from wasting your money,,,
Look if you want one of these wings ask where to get the quality or original version,,, as stated before you will be better off and far happier if you go with qaulity parts rather than "caca" kits....
If your so called "serious" than take our advice we ahvent led you wrong... No offense taken just alil frustration thats all,,, ohh and dont go into thread telling people whom are giving you solid advice, that they are wasting your time,,, you may want to rethink that stance before someone does actually flame you,,,,

i still think it will fit like caca and most likely look like caca......i have spent more money and time on my car, kits, body and paint work than you have probably spent on your entire car...i have gone through 3 different kits, 4 or 5 different paint jobs and helped design countless cars in the northeast......i also have had the pleasure of seeing the real deal and knock offs in at least 15-20 rx8's in the last 3+ years.....can we call that a little experience?

personally i would pose a legitimate question along with your intentions for the look of your car.....this way people can give you a valid opinion on what would or could look good....(this should be done by yourself any way)....and before even posting try searching out some kits and threads with the cars that have the real ones on so you can see for yourself....try here
