Sorry guys, I suck at the whole pic sizing thing. Not sure how to do it. Didn't notice much of a difference in weight, not like I expected it to be a difference anyway. The reason I got the hood was because it was vented like I wanted. It gets too hot here in AZ and with the turbo kit going on I wanted as much cooling as possible.

Well, for Phx we had a few good rain storms as of late and I was a little worried that the K&N intake filter would get soaked as give me some problems but It never even stutterd once when starting or driving. Yea you do have to clean the engine bay more often but that don't bother me none. The K&N is even louder now. Almost sounds like forced induction when accelerating. The fitment was like a typical carbon hood...not perfect but close enough that I could adust it. I drilled out the hood bracket holes a little to allow for some side to side movement and gap dissapeared. BTW mine never came with rain gaurds. I've been toying with the idea of dremeling out the smaller "dummy" vents to the rear of the hood for more ventilation though that seems like a larger task than I'm willing to deal with right now. We'll see how I feel about that after a couple 100 deg days in a row.

Bizarre. One would think a cf hood would be lighter. I guess it is just fibreglass with some cf to make it look pretty.
