Has anyone ever seen side window vents for the RX-8? Maybe I can't find them because they don't make them. I've looked everywhere I can think of including JC Whitney.
Flame me for being a smoker if you want to but I NEED to be able to crack my window when it rains. Also when parking in the Florida heat, they're good for keeping the heat down somewhat.

Rain would come in when parked.

I don't think Vent Shades makes any for the RX-8. I have been looking for some myself, but our car is not listed. My car sits in the sun all day and it is about 140 degrees when I get in to go home from work in the summer.

 

maybe you guys should invest in a side visor. it curves around so rain will dip past it. and you can leave the front windows open maybe one inch.

 

That is what VentShades are and they look similar. Side Visor is the brand name?

 

its an OEM Mazda product but not sold in US.
check out japanparts.com. part #091-019-001. it's kinda expensive though.

 

Yes. They are about 3 times the cost of VentShades. Didn't get as far as finding out the shipping costs.
