sick of body kit

I have the veil side d1 bodykit with a veil side carbon wing, and well... I have no idea what i was thinking even though veil side is JDM, it's still kinda ricey. I'm going to do a differant kit in the next couple of months, i have no clue what i want though. I like the veil side side skirts so i'm going to try to keep those on, maybe not. What body kit should i get? or what kits should i mix and match? I want something clean and a little aggressive, but not as bad as the veil side kit. so tell me guys what should i get?

mixing and matching may be considered ricey as well. if you think about it, a lot of things may be considered ricey, it just depends on the opinion of the majority.

here's a pic of my car. I'm thinking of getting something a little more exclusive, maybe the feed front end? and the Rmagic wing? I also like the whole amemyia kit. I don't know. Just give me some suggestions.

There is the Fabulous body kit which is quite impressive (the rear bumper in particular). The Knight sport and the autoexe are also amazing.

I agree, the Fabulous or Autobahn kits are less "aggressive".

personally, i like the INGS+1 front. i know it's similar to the veilside but takes that giant lip and minimizes it. for some reason i can't stand VS but love the INGS+1. moostafa has his up for sale at https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8s-sale-wanted-43/fs-2004-titanium-gt-w-low-mileage-99552/ which shows a decent shot. i know he's posted other pics that show the kit a little better.

That's an understatement.

I'm confused why everyone is going ricey with the over the top kits that just look out of place and different colored hoods and painted wheels. It kinda looks silly at best.

Why isn't anyone building the 8 into a high end GT car similar to a traditional ferrari? Are we all that tasteless?

I like the mazdaspeed body kit. Its real simple and not overdoing it with too much aggressiveness.

The autobahn kit looks boss.

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...avorite+yellow

The Kenstyle is JDM and comes as an option in Japan for the 8s.

I think it looks smooth.

If you decide to sell your sides let me know.

my your highly opinionated arent you?....any way there are several kits out there that are more subtle and im sure your gonna do the right thing wangan.....you got the back bone to actually mod your body unlike some other people who slap on rims and think thier car is the best thing since sliced bread....just go do something different and non cookie cutter and do what you think is best....it is YOUR car after all and you gotta see it and drive it

the autobahn looks snazzy too, when i redo the body work this time i think i'll go with a knock off of a kit. I also don't think i want to mess with fiberglass anymore.

first of all its a japanese car, not italian.

second, we tend to follow japanese styling, so whatever is cool in japan, we get it here 2 years later.

The 8 will never be "high end" or close to that only because it is a $30k car, so faking the funk is purely optional.

Now you tell me, who's being tasteless?
