OK, let me know what you think. I'm still out to lunch on this mod. They draw attention to the front end, but one guy at work thought I installed a snow shovel for the Winter!

they look kinda...weird....are they functional? Its hard to tell since your shots are so close up....I think you need a shot of the whole car to make a fair judgement.

you might try adding a lip spoiler or getting a new bumper.

You need a more aggressive front bumper so that the Air Splitters would look right.. the Stock bumper just doesn't do it.

I couldn't resist seeing what they would look like on the car. I took them off tonight.

 

They are supposed to get you all kinds of comments to take them off.

 

LOL, but seriously are these just ricer mods or is there some scientific (psudo-scientific ) purpose to them?

 

I don't think they looked that bad, but you would need something on the back to balance it out, maybe the lipspoiler (ings I think?)

 

"To add downforce on the front end at high speeds" is what the original purpose was.

I think my intent was to get this look, and to save money doing it. But I think I need the MS front end to make the car look right. So, I am still out to lunch on this mod. Maybe if I get the RX8Fun "euro-style" spoiler for the rear end it will balance it out. If that does not look right, then I hope Santa brings me the MS kit

 

Do you think they will fit a stock front bumper? I'll call them to see - thanks.

Update: This one requires drilling more holes in both the stock buimper and the MS bumper, and it is $249 and not in stock yet.
