Hey everyone Im a soon to be rx8 owner (not till march unfortunately) and have been looking into the body kits over the past few weeks. what is everyones general opinion of body kits with a spoiler? (this wont sway my opinion on whether to get one or not, im just curious of everyones opinion) and also can anyone possible recommend one that wouldnt make the car scream rice? (not that theres anything wrong with that its just not my personal taste:P)

People seem to like the MazdaSpeed rear wing spoiler. It's probably the most popular one, but unfortunately it's pretty damned expensive.

 

get the oem one.

it's cheap, functional, and do not scream at anyone.

mazdaspeed is pushing it if you're concerned about your clueless girlfriends.

gt wings are pushing it even on this forum.

I think the car looks naked without a wing.

I really like the look of the lop spoiler, I thik it's Mint Green?
Ther OEM spoiler complements the lines very well.

Personally, I think the MS wing is over the rice line... but that could just be me.

The 8 looks hot without a wing of any kind, but if you MUST get one, go with the MS one.

 

yup, no wing FTW! especially on cars like Deedubb's. IMO the best looking 8

 

Blah, the MS wing is ugly. Spend your money on something that actually improves the performance.

If I was forced to pick one.. this would be it.

wingless or go with a small lip. rear wings are about as useful as sunroof deflectors.

not a prob, i just love the look of the CF and the volks on the VR. i hope you dont mind that i will be getting the CF hood and trunk also, but i dont have the sort of cash to get the volks though. rota's are the ones for me.
