Lebren is making strides on a DIY LED tail set! Will be under $169 for sure, and require minor assembly/patience. Exact price TBA, but well worth it! As always, available worldwide

Installation in house is under consideration, there are some downsides to this. Owner will be out tails for about a week, shipping hazard of cracking lenses or loss of tails, cost of bulky shipment.

The plan is to make the kit so easy to install a caveman they can be installed by just about anyone with minimal skill, simple tools, and a night or two of free time.

Sounds interesting.
I take the LED modification would only be for the round red part of the light, not the turn signals or the backup lights, correct?

another suggestion would be the option to do red turn signals instead of amber, if you are setting it up for the reverse lights and turn signals as well...

For many years no one company that would make a nice LED Taillight for RX8. This company Clearcorners are nice, but at this price, they are just crazy. I have not seen any owner of the RX8 to be praised, there are those LED Taillight.
These Taillight the first post are very ugly and poorly lit!

Speak of the devil, here's mine that I got from Japan earlier this year.
It looks awesome and I like the fact that you can change to different light shapes.

Sorry, but it seems like I've done myself in the garage. I prefer the new LED lights R3 and a new rear bumper to fit everything.
Again I say shame that so far no good LED taillight for RX8, you can buy and fit precisely. Except for those of Clearcorners Madding price.

Sorry about the spelling, I hope to understand what I mean.

For the every day driver, it seems like common sense to find LED Tail Lights that can be converted overnight. I want to make sure the lights you lay down your hard earned cash on are good quality, and last a long time. I make extra efforts to make sure you get a great product at an affordable price. I like to include nearly everything needed to get the job done right.

Developments are under way, with a little more patience (less than a week) I will share with you some images. It's certain I'm not the only one that will enjoy wearing these on the 8.

You can find me wandering Sevenstock, I may reveal some more details

The clear corners concept does not include the main headlight or taillight assembly, only the mod. The turn around is 2-3 months also... They can however provide the complete assembly new - but for even more money! yikes

V-leds offers this option for the turn signal part just not the parking lights, in fact they have two different types, one that is white, changes to yellow to blink and then back to white or one that is constant white, then blinks white and yellow alternating.
