Reminds me of a Supra

The white one reminds me of a supra, maybe it's just the wing?

then I'm considering having a custom emblem made for mine.
Sounds cool! Any ideas on the design you want?

I just hope that the 7 is produced in great enough numbers that aftermarket tuners will produce body kits in high quality urethane or other flexible material and not just in fiberglass...I have a fiberglass nose and skirts on my 7 and they're not fond of stones. Stone chips on a black car are not fun. I can't imagine too many RX8 owners willing to put up with the properties of fiberglass, at least not in the first few years of production.

I read somewhere that Mazda was hoping for about 18,000 in first year sales and almost double that in year two. That will bode well for manufacturers participating in the creation of the aftermarket industry for this car. The only thing that might hamper it is a lack of interest by the owners. The aftermarket for the third gen certainly wasn't storming in 93-95. Not like it is now. Time will tell I guess. here's to hoping!

side-rear...

I like the kit because it is simple. I especially like the front bumper spoiler which when added with the titanium paint job really makes the car look like an Aston Martin

I don't know anything about who makes the kit.

I heard they were going to make certain elements of the X-men car available for purchase, perhaps that's it. I picked up a mini-brochure at the Mazda dealer a few weeks ago and it did not mention any add on aero kits. They're offering it for the Mazda 6 and Miata however, even a replacement grille for the 6 to get rid of that chrome top lip. The dealer even had a Mazdaspeed display up for Protoge' parts. If I were a betting man, and I am, I'd say that Mazda will almost certainly offer dealer installed aero "additions".

boowana (our inside authority) has mentioned in another thread that many accessories include aero kits will be available from the dealer once the car is released. I would not be surprised at all to see the kit from laguna available, probably for around $1000 from the dealer

That titanium RX-8 that MrWigggles posted from Leguna Seca ... looks just like boowana's mystery black RX-8!

Don't forget the clear turn signals on the titanium. A must for that color car.

looks good, it is <as previously mentioned> riding way too high, and it needs a few vents in the hood.
plus a grid<large holes> over the radiator... and not black, same as bodywork
