His are in Japanese and the instructions tell you to use the wrong hole anyway.

Thanks for the install tips you guys but I have a question to those who have strakes: I purchased my strakes from the dealer and as I was about to install them I noticed that a couple of them had some imperfections. They weren't nicks, per say, but pealing of some kind. I tried to buff them out but the effort was in vain. I was really bummed cause I had waited so long for them but refused to spend $200 on something that had these "marks". Probably not noticeable to the rest of the world but I would know that they were there and it would drive me crazy. I have another set on order but basically, I just wanted to know if I should expect this from the product or wait till I find a set where all four are perfect. Thanks in advance for the info.

sounds like the chrome chipping/peeling off.....? if that's the case, i'd try to get them replaced if it really bothers you.

The dealer should have picked that up before he delivered them IMO...

This part is around $77 brand new, so I guess it depends on how well you can remove it from the car.

Is it just held on with tape and can it come off easily?

A dealer here has a returned 8 with the front and rear accents, I was going to ask if I could buy them at a discount.
