I had these on my Civic back in 1998 and they were out way before that, so I think not. Also StreetGlow was founded in the early 1990's and they weren't the first company for neon lights on cars.

i like them, but with a lowered 8 with a body kit, i would worry about breaking/cracking them, as it seems that every little bump i go over i bottom out.

I switched out all my interior lights to red leds and I ordered a set of puddle lights. I plan on buying some ground effects and wiring them to light up when I open the doors.

i guess its to all thier own, personally i like the look of it when its alot of light, when its really dim and u can bearly see it i don't see the point.
