removing roof trim strips?

Is there a way to remove the strips without damage. Im pretty sure they are made out of aluminum and have some sort of tabs on the underside. I need to remove them and would like to reuse these.

This came up before and I believe it is very hard to do without bending them, I'll have to look back and find where it was discussed.

I think Mazdatrix sells the CF roof for the RX-8... You may be able to get CF replacements... that could look cool.
