Did you notice the side markers are non existant on the kit? I do like the front bumper and skirts, not a fan of the rear bumper though

NYCGPS as far as fitment do you speak from experiance????
If you know Re-Amemiya's history. You will not have such stupid question.

Will you question Racing Beat's fitness ?

Thats like asking will HKS's GT-R stuff fit on GT-R

Shipping Alone will kill you because its very expensive to ship things from Japan to US. especially right now, US dollar is like Junk.

before you decide to treat me like an ***, the kit I was responding to was the kit hellhammer was displaying. So please dont treat me like the people that told ME the Re kit was a knockoff as I was the one who scoffed at the comment and decided to bring it to the big boards attention
I come here for advice and for good information from rotary loyalists....not for lectures

word. sounds good. i see where nycgps is coming from, and it does get frustrating when people ask about the quality of an amemiya part. Its not your fault tho, its the other 900k members here that are complete f'tards and are flooding the board with stupid questions.

Anyway, looks like Razz answered the questions for you in regards to fitment.

I have the full kit, and i would recommend getting it from Japan Parts. The price and service is great. There are other good forum vendors here as well, but from personal experience, JP.com has worked best for me.

BUT - do note... i have no problem with telling you that your better off stabbing yourself in the eye, than ordering through vivid. I can't believe those clowns are still in business.

Appreciated and understood. I just wish he had realized I wasn't doubting the quality and wasn't even commenting on the Re kit at the time he quoted me.

JP shipping is very high but good to know about Vivid. They showed their colors when they offered 100 off list when purchasing 3 parts of the kit.

I will ask you the same as I am asking Razz. I can definetly afford the kit and should not have any issue installing myself or with help from the local club. My concern is I have never had parts painted and I wouldn't take a 3 Grand kit and head to the Home Depot for some high grade rust oleum. How much should I expect to have Winning Blue done right

That all depends upon who you know and where you live.

My nephew did it for 300 bucks.

Expect 3mnths for delivery from Japan more during the holidays.

Winning Blue is not an easy color to blend. For my hood alone - the quotes from the best shops here were about $400-$500, and thats with painting the fenders to blend. My current quote isnt relative since its for the hood (fenders included)/full kit/trunk/side mirrorrs... all blended to OEM White. Actually - i think it would be cheaper if i just painted the whole car a new color.

If you can get a good shop to do it for about $600 - $750.. i would say thats fair. After its sprayed, you can install it yourself since it wont have fitment issues.

Also, when lookign at a shop... check to see the other cars on the lot that they have sprayed. See how well they could blend it to the OEM color.

Thanks guys
I have a tough decision
I can have the whole Mazdaspeed kit installed in less than a week, or wait months and pay probably 1500 more with the light assembly I didnt count yet which I am guessing is about 500 for the re kit

I had the mazdaspeed kit before, and the Amemiya kit now. The Speed Kit is slightly less expensive, comes with OEM paint from factory, both fit perfectly, but the Speed kit is made of a much stronger material than any other kit offered. In the end, it just depends on what ur personal taste is. If you like the Amemiya kit better... is it worth the extra price?

Guys
I dont want to be like a Civic for sure. Unfortunetly my bank roll will easily cover the kit and install should be easy enough. With shipping so expensive and paint being a rather steep cost I will have to see. Wish me luck and will keep u posted.

I've seen a few cars pull it off, but its not easy to do. Last time it was a red S2000 with a set of volks. The shade of red and shade of gold have to match, otherwise its gonna come out wrong. Oh and dont think just doing "gold volks" will work... since theres 3 different shades of gold that Rays offers
