Racing Beat has another front bumper!!

While checking out AutoExe's site I ran across a Japanese site they host for Racing Beat. http://www.autoexe.co.jp/rb/index.html

Checking out the products section it seems that RB actually has TWO front bumper designs. The second one is something like a more aggressive version of the stock front bumper. I think that the first RB front looks better...

Much nicer. Looks like a more aggresive Mazdaspeed unit.

The type 2 looks just like the stock bumper except with a big extra lip... Doesn't catch my interest at all

I guess I see your point about the middle opening, but the side openings (oil cooler) seem quite a bit bigger.

Type 1 takes one of the major nice design cues of the 8, the oval center opening, and totally trashes it for boring '70ish Toyota-like look. Second is hardly different than stock w/lip under-spoiler, but a bit more integrated, bigger oil cooler holes.

I don't get it? What the point of bothering. Maybe that's why they don't have it here...too bad they should just sell type 2..it's at least nicer than type 1.

It seems RB is having difficulty with the nose kit for the RX 8. I personally like the first version, but I think I am in the minority on that one. The reason I would replace my stock front is because of the wimpy little center opening that the stock front has. It looks like they kept the opening on this second kit the same and just modified it in other areas. I would never pay for a replacement front that looked so similar to the stock piece.

I think the second version looks pretty nice. Was never a fan of the first one.

The Type-2 seems to be sharper than the stock front bumper. The openings are much more angled than the curvy stock. Agree with these two fellaz above me. I like it better than the first one.

The car on the Autoexec.co.jp site dosn't have clear corners. It has US spec side markers.
edit: Oops, that was the type 1 photo.
