I have a factory front aero lip, mazdaspeed sides and rear bumper "triangles". They are ready to be painted. my car is Brilliant Black. I am looking for suggestions since I have the opportunity to add some contrast.

I was originally going to just have them painted black to match but have been considering going with a matte black or a gunmetal to contrast against the factory BB.

Any opinions?

If you insist on a trim color, I would suggest something very subtle ( less is more) and in a color already in play... like the color of your wheels.
