Question Guys

Ok so im not sure what there called but the 2 pieces of aluminum that runs down the top of the car one on each side of the sun roof. Well some how the right side one right above the door has been pushed in and dented. Can I pull that whole strip off and just push it back out or what do I need to do to take that piece off with out messing up any other part of the car or scratching my paint. Any help appreciated thanks.

Its the spot right there in the light can barely see in pic but its dark out hard to get a good pic. But you get the idea can I take that strip out by pulling it off or what do I have to do to get it off so I can pop that dent back out? Name: 2011-03-27_19-47-28_255.jpg

first off, this is a public forum and can be viewed by anyone. So 1 view or a million views, doesn't mean everyone is going to have an answer to your problem.
second, your description is a little unclear. I believe that you're talking about the roof molding?

I don't have an answer for removal. How did it get damaged?

I do not know how it got damaged noticed it today when I got to the house was looking down top of car and seen the dent. I would think that these pieces can be just pulled off but not sure. Also thinking maybe it can be fixed easy with paint less dent repair. As for an answer I thought maybe someone one on here would at least know how to remove the molding.

I believe the reason there is a molding there to cover the welding line of the roof. I'm sure if you decide to, you can remove it and then replace it with some adhesive. Don't quote me on that, though...

Yeah I was thinking that but its so flimsy and all aluminum afraid if i try and pull it off i will just make it worse its like pushing on a dang coke can. So what I came up with for easy dent removal is taking one of those little suction cup kits they make for sucking out poison and stings from bees and just suction on the smallest cup and pulling it straight up.

it is called roof molding. they com pre-painted from mazda and if you do pull it off it will get worse. I tried pulling a set off on a project and bent it. I also plan on replacing mine when i finish up. It runs around 70-80 a side unless you have lighting and sunlight silver yellow which is more for some reason. heres a link i planned on using.
