Before you read this, please know that I have searched for DIY's, found only one good one, and this thread is for me to ask questions and hopefully get answers.

Here we go:

I just received some Evo-R VR Eyelids and I am getting ready to install them onto my 8. I searched for any DIY's and found this one:

Now I know that this it is easy to install eyelids. My question is, do I have to do what that DIY says, or can I just install the eyelids after just a simple cleaning of my headlights?

I don't trust me doing the whole sanding/polishing of my headlights, but if I have to, I guess I have to lol.
