I need info, first time owner of RX8

I hope this works, im new to this site. I just got a 2006 RX8 Used for my first car. I at least clean it once a week, and ive noticed that there is a clear plastic film near the back of the suicide doors. Lately after washing and waxing the car, its been getting a brownish tent around the around the outer edge of the clear plastic film and I know its not rust. So is it ok If I go ahead and peel this stuff off, because it makes my car look like crap. I really need feedback people.....(Oh yeah, the date is wrong on the camera, I took these today on September 28,2009)

Here are the links to the pics of what im talking about if the image code doesnt work

Yep it is clear film to protect against rock chips. Have you tried cleaning with a tooth pick?

I have the same thing, just do what the other members said and use a Q-Tip or Toothpick (I use Q-Tip...much softer)
