Please tell me at least what this is called.

Feel like an idiot.. but for some reason i cant figure out what to call this thing..

Searched to find an answer and kept finding nothing.

So..

1. What is this called?

2. If removed will i have to remove the undercover for the car also?

3. Anyone have pictures of a 04 RX8 like this one without it? will it look super dumb?

If your wondering.. i hit a raccoon about a week ago.. and it cracked what holds it up.. the triangle part hangs down and it just looks horrible. I dont know if i can zip-tie it or something to make it stay up? Right now im still so mad i cant even look at it.. So any help would be great.

That is a replacable part of the front bumper that the undertray bolts too....look for an exploded diagram of the front and you will see it.....

You will need it to hold the undertray up...I think that part is relatively inexpensive...and it includes the V shaped part as well. As long as your bumper mounting areas aren't broken you can just replace that part

Incorrect. It is exactly what holds the undertray to the vehicle on its leading edge.

Probably didn't need to say anything since neither is correct.
It is attached. It is connected.
It is not all one piece.

I've got one here you can have for $50 plus shipping.

It looks like you might need an undertray also, unfortunately. Hard to tell from those pics.

get a fiberglass repair kit from hardware or marine store. Apply the fiberglass and mixed resin(just enough to wet it). let dry. Sand. Paint. Fixed (broke style)
