Perfect fit kits?

I had a mishap with my 8 and my insurance is replacing my front and rear bumper and most of the appearance package that I had on it. I'm trying to talk the bodyshop into putting a body kit on instead but they had concerns about the fit and whatnot. I don't wanna have to pay anything extra if at all possible.

Are there any kits out there that were a perfect fit for you guys? I'm not sure that I can swing the mazdaspeed kit from mazda due to the price.(unless they offer it in a non painted version?)

no kit is without imprefections in fitment with the exception of the mazdaspeed. Plus some kits are hit or miss, i mean sometimes the same company will produce a kit that may fit well for someone but not for someone else.

correction. no it doesn't always come painted. for certain "limited" colors they have to come primered.

why is it 2600 all together. but bought seperately its 2200?

and 2200+labor/paint is still quite a bit.

is it wrong that i wish someone would hit me from behind and cause me to hit something in the front, so that i would need a new front and back?

yeah, perfect fitment does cost pretty penny. Go with the original for a no headache experience.

I believe even the adapt the MS rear you have to do some trimming, I could be wrong though.

you'll need to cut the plastic bottom piece, only to fit the new piece on, but it will fit perfect.

rx8mod83,
a) do you have angel eyes?
b) you spelled "Tein" wrong in your sig.
c) Milltek & B&M don't make products for the 8. so... WTF?

i got my rx8 used and the seller emailed me a list of mods...

Lol, my car has been in out of repairs, because it was a flood car, i still have to overlook things a bit ha, the owner was posted in germany and did do all this custom stuff while he was there.. and had some prototype parts made as well.
