Has anyone tried painting the aftermarket Mazda fuel door to match the exterior color? I was thinking about it for my Pearl White 06 Shinka since the chrome stands out a bit on white. I would love a pic if anyone has done it.

i thought about this as well awhile ago..make sure whoever paints it matches it correctly or else it will end up looking like a blemish..

I'm gonna take it to the paint shop today. They should be able to match color from code 25D using Dupont paint???????? I think they'll have to dip it first to remove the finish to make paint stick.

The fuel door will never match perfectly... you will have to blend the color into the quarter panel!

someone at 7 stock did that with a BB and a satin door, imo it looks good but I don't think you're gonna get very good results with the chrome
